Here are some of my Summer makeup must haves!

Matte Foundation: As someone with combination skin, I like to use a matte foundation and one that is a few shades darker than normal when I have a tan. I love using the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear Foundation because even though it’s a darker shade it still has a cool undertone which can be hard to find as the shades get darker on some foundations.

Sunscreen: Whether you are going outside or not, you should always wear sunscreen and a good sunscreen does not need to be expensive. The Versed mineral sunscreen has color to it but does not add a tint to your skin and does not leave a white cast, or I like this one as well.

Eyebrow pencil: At least for those of us with light eyebrow hairs like me, I need a brow pencil to complete any look even if brows are all I do. I know so many can relate to that feeling when you filled in your brows and you just "Ah, there I am" once they are filled. For the lucky ones out there will naturally great brows, a clear brow gel will make such a difference. The Patrick Ta brow defining pencil has been my recent favorite because of the shape, its perfect for making light brush strokes on your brows giving a more natural brow look.

Liquid Blush: Over the past year or so I have been using nothing but liquid blushes, I got the Saie trio set during the Sephora sale last fall and love every shade. This then led me to buy even more liquid blushes and now that’s all that I wear, but getting back to summer; liquid blushes are great for on the go or night out looks, I think what I like the most is that you can control how light or vibrant you want your blush to be.

Concealer: This will be the most multi use items of this whole list. Concealer can be for under your eye; to cover up a breakout or spot conceal your face for a natural easy look. Similar to the foundation I will go one shade darker to go along with my tan, you still want your concealer to be light, so this is why I usually only go one shade darker and mix it with my regular concealer. This year the Natasha Denona concealer has been my go-to giving medium coverage, perfect for under the eyes or spot concealing.

Bronzing drops: These are fun to add to your moisturizer for a natural look or to mix in with your foundation, I do both, Bronzing drops just give you that kissed by the sun look without having to be in the sun. There are so many out there to choose from, but my favorite is the Uncommon Beauty Bronzing Drops because they are a clean brand with clean ingredients which I always try to look for in my skincare/makeup.

Sheer Lipstick: Specifically in a baby pink shade, it looks good on so many different skin tones. I've been using the Kosas Shiny Sheer Lipstick in Baby Rose and absolutely loving it. It’s pretty much been all I wear since I got it and will need to order another one soon. You can wear it alone or with lip liner.

Mascara: Literally any black mascara that you like will work, especially if you are going for that no makeup, makeup look; use some bronzing powder as eye shadow and add mascara and your eyes are set. The mascara I buy on repeat is the Lancome Lash Idole mascara.

Gel/Liquid Illuminator: This is new for me, I'm used to being super oily during the summer, so the last thing I ever wanted was something to make me look more shinier. This year my skin has been on the dry side, so I've been adding products like this to help me still have some type of glow. The Saie Glowy Super Gel in Starglow has been a welcomed addition to my makeup routine. I use one pump and add it to my foundation, and it given a beautiful glow without looking shiny.
